Dear Commission: Please seriously consider traffic safety impacts at Dolores & East Ave. The increased traffic from the planned 115-unit Pacific development and the senior housing development on Pacific will surely impact safety at Dolores & East Ave. This already busy, congested intersection will add a 13-unit 3-4BR development with single entrance ~4 car-lengths from the intersection, right next to Carrigan Cmn (with no planned turning lane for either). Dolores St., a major cut-through connector between S Livermore & East Ave, has higher-density housing along the entire E side with cars, bikes, and people going in and out. The East/Dolores intersection also has significant 2-route bus, police, and pedestrian traffic to LHS and East Ave MS. Many make U-turns at Arbor/Dolores and many speed on Dolores St. Street parking is needed but causes poor visibility and no buffer for backed up vehicles. Please take this seriously and address these expected safety impacts at East & Dolores. TY.
