Housing and community are vital necessities, now as ever. Especially when they are built for the people living there, rather than the cars they drive. I appreciate the dedication that must have been required to bring this project to light.
I am concerned the changes may have affected the longevity of the neighborhood. Specifically the sequestering of VLI and LI housing and the loss of retail space possibly hindering easy access to basic services sans automobile. However, I trust that the City staff understand development limitations better than I, and this project reassures me that I am living in a city that is looking forward, rather than in the rear view. Thank you all.
