Thank you for the opportunity to support the development of light industrial uses in the Tri-Valley region. Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group (ITV) is dedicated to fostering collaboration among businesses, educational institutions, and civic leaders. We endorse the City of Livermore's effort to zone and develop light industrial areas as it aligns with our Vision 2040 goal of ensuring that industrial-zoned lands maximize the job-creation and innovation potential of the area.
ITV encourages the Planning Commission to keep the 2040 Vision for the region in mind as the priorities identified represent over 1,000 regional stakeholders who participated in the Vision planning. The vision specifically cites the planning of light industrial parks and innovation “zones” as a key driver of the region’s innovation ecosystem and future economic development.
Thank you for your consideration,
Katie Marcel, CEO, Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group
