5.15) Resolution authorizing an interfund loan in the amount of $500,000 between the Sewer Fund (Lender) and General Fund (Borrower) to fund replacement of Livermore's fire stations' alerting system.
Re: Agenda Item 5.15
I am enquiring as to why the City of Livermore is increasing sewer rates and then turning around and loaning the General Fund a half million dollars for the replacement of Livermore's fire stations' alerting system. If the Sewer Fund is funded well enough to make a loan for that large of an amount, why are the sewer rates increasing? Why isn't the General Fund supporting the alerting system?
