5) PUBLIC HEARINGS
5.1) Hearing to consider the Historic Resources Update project. The project would: 1. Amend the Livermore Development Code to update and clarify the City’s Certificate of Appropriateness standards and remove the Historic Overlay zoning district standards; 2. Amend the Zoning Map to remove the Historic Overlay zoning districts; 3. Amend the Downtown Specific Plan to update and clarify Downtown historic preservation policies; 4. Update the citywide Historic Resources Inventory to analyze all city parcels and replace the Historic Overlay districts; and 5. Prepare a citywide Historic Context Statement to identify Livermore’s historic themes and property types.
